This portfolio investigates Julia Kristeva's theory of the abject in relation to my studio practice. Through extensive documentation and analysis of my materials and processes, I will acknowledge my use of abject materials from the domestic environment and demonstrate how they allow me to discrupt rules and boundaries in relation to patriarchy, language and the maternal feminine.
