Works of socially-engaged art often present various dilemmas and questions which can prove challenging to address. This essay will attempt to unravel some of these issues. Matters such as moral and ethical standards, authorship and the legitimacy of socially-engaged art will be addressed. Theories concerning aesthetics will also be considered in relation to socially-engaged art. |
