This thesis is a gender analysis of contemporary masculinities. Focusing on traditional forms such as hegemonic masculinity, I explore the effect it can have on men and the pressures they may face from society in conforming to its ideologies. I then look at many forms of masculinity which are influenced by such traditional values and the complexities that surround them. [Abstract] |
