505 0# - FORMATTED CONTENTS NOTE
Formatted contents note Atlus's Persona 4 Golden (2012) video game for the Playstation vita can be explored and interpreted successfully using the Jungian theories of individuation and the psychology of the self. The game features a complex host of characters that serve to illustrate the individuation process to the player and which by extension facilitates the growth of the main character. The game as a whole can be viewed as a celebration, or modern interpretation of Jung's vast collection of writings under the guise of a japanese murder mystery role playing game. It embraces the framework of self actualization and uses this to fuel its character's development, resulting in rich and believable personalities that learn to accept themselves and those around them.
