David Whiting is a prominent craft writer who has been active in the field of contemporary studio ceramic art for 15 years. He writes regularly for Crafts magazine as well as Ceramics Monthly, and last year curated a show at Galerie Besson entitled Functional Form Now. He has written articles for Rufford Ceramic Centre as well as two books- Winchcombe Pottery- The Cardew-Finch Tradition (co-author), and Prospect, Ten Artists in Clay, the catalogue for the Cardiff School of Art & Design.
