The aim of this thesis is to explore how art investigates memory and landscape to create a new existenial space and place to live. Analysis of artists' theories and concepts of 'memory' and 'landcape', methods and practice of using memoryand landscape to inform and form their art, is an integral role in how they place themselves in the world.
