Exploring the role of the Phenomenology of Space in traditional white cube galleries established in the 1960s, this essay looks at the idealist and elitist qualities of the Modern and Minimalist movements which shaped these spaces and how the viewer is led to consume the artwork. I want to begin to show how this is challenged in the digital age post-internet. [Abstract]
