This essay discusses the relevance of humanwear in contemporary culture. Taking into consideration recent developments in gender fluidity, the essay explores the level of success achieved by androgynous fashion in entering into mainstream society. In opposition to this, the essay also investigates the challenges facing humanwear, and the obstacles that are currently preventing androgynous clothing from achieving mainstream success. [Abstract]
