This thesis is considering how fashion design can contribute to more inclusive society through symbolic and practical approach to current apparel market by analysing work of designers Alexander McQueen, Izzy Camilleri and Lucy Jones. It will look at adjustments which have to be introduced in current fashion industry to improve and meet the needs of people with diverse physical abilities. The research highlights the necessity to make the fashion industry more ethical, expanding beauty standards through the inclusion of differently framed bodies. [Abstract]
