The focus of this essay examines the post-modernist elements within Baz Luhrmanns 'Moulin Rouge'. While some critics perceive 'Moulin Rouge' as being an unoriginal work of plagiarism, other understand that Luhrmann's film simply re-purposes the work of different artists, in order to create its own original and unique expression.
