The recordings werw conducted with six groups of people from throughout the county as a part of HSE supported project entitled "Elder, Not Older: Older People Community Assets". Each day, two groups werw brought togather from a different geographical region of the county for a four hour workshop with Michael. During this time both groups undertook a series of exercises where they recounted customs and superstitions they remembered, or still practiced, from throughout the calendar year. Once comprehensive list wad drawn up, inviduals from each group werw identified and recorded on camera.
The short collections of folklore witch feature on this DVD were recorded by Michael Fortune with people from around County Donegal over three days in late September 2010.
