Life, as you formerly knew it, is on hold while you travel through this other world as unknown as it is unexpected. Focusing on this relationship between the sick body and medical practice where corporeal and emotional experiences develop and become an extension of everyday life. Where the body becomes host to co-existing meanings of fear, hope, relief, control; and uncertainty.
