This essay examines the role of art as a catalyst for change in the context of the Arab Spring, using Egypt's Tahrir Square as a study sample for the interactions of the events. It discusses how art in its many forms has the ability to influence and empower people - more specifically the Egyptian population - to demand freedom of expression and fight for their rights.
