Karl Champley is an award-winning master builder, home inspector, and environmental building consultant in both the United States and Australia. Since 1983, Karl has won several awards for his work on homes, colleges, libraries, restaurants, fire stations, and even the world-famous Glass House situated in the Royai Sydney Botanical Gardens. His passionate and no-nonsense approach to eco-friendly home improvement has earned him well-deserved notoriety in the building industry. He is the host of the award-winning shows DIY to the Rescue and Wasted Spaces, and national radio show Home Live. The homes he has designed and built have been featured in publications around the world. Champley genuinely loves to teach homeowners new do-it-yourself skills and how to use tools correctly. Originally from Sydney, Australia, he now lives in Los Angeles, California.
Karen Kelly is a lifestyle and design writer.
Arthur Mount is an award-winning illustrator whose work has been published in publications around the world. He lives in Portland, Oregon.
