This essay examines Craftivism as a movement and as a method. It explores how the term was established, a brief history of it and explores how it is being used by contemporary craft activists today. It focuses on four main artists, two who use Craftivism as a form of unthreatening activism, and two who use a more extreme method. It compares these artists and questions the social and cultural impact of Craftivism.
