The aim of this essay is to form an analysis of taste in relation to fashion. By examining the role of the kitsch aesthetic as a widely regarded form as bad taste, this essay questions the distinction between conventional notions of good and bad taste. This essay explores whether the notions of good taste and kitsch are constantly opposed.
