This paper is an investigation into the artistic practice of contemporary artist, Lisa Yuskavage, through a psychoanalytical, Jungian Framework. The aim is to show a deeper understanding of motivations for her works and the psychological themes underpinning them. Within this context, it can be seen that there are a multitude of layers to this complex and controversial artist. [Abstract]
