A discussion of the different perceptions of people with disabilities, and how they have come about through the freak show and medical theatre. As well as, the several different representations of people with disabilities in photography as perceived by the theory of visual rhetorics of disability. Application of this theory on the work of two artists that are changing how we see disability.
