Áine de Róiste PhD is a senior lecturer in Social Care at Cork Institute of Technology. She is a registered psychologist of the Psychological Society of Ireland and a member of IASCE. John McHugh MA is Co-ordinator of Social Studies at Carlow College (St Patrick's) where, as Placement Co-ordinator, he compiled the Working Models placement guidelines booklets published by IASCE in 2000 and subsequently.
