This set of ten pamphlets is the result of the 'City (Re)Searches: Experiences of publicness project'. The project involved short visits to Cork, Belfast, Kaunas and Rotterdam between 2012 and 2013. The field of inquiry in each setting was the contested nature of community, culture and publicness. The mode of inquiry involved public deliberations, artist engagement, site visits, discussions with local organisations and artists, and internal reflection within the research team.
