This thesis attempts to uncover the connections between Gothic and Victorian culture and modern contemporary fashion design. I specifically focus on the highly sexualised clothing of Alexander McQueen and certain elements of his taboo-breaking runway shows which present Gothic and Victorian flamboyancies. [Abstract] | |
