505 0 _aAnime is a style of Animation that originates from Japan. Anime as of late has been under the harsh criticism of both connoisseurs of the medium and by the animators working in the industry themselve. It has been noted that the quality of animation produced in Japan is of a lower quality than of previous year by industry animator and director Hayao Miyazaki. He states there is too much Otaku imagery and otaku culture within the industry. He exclaims that this is forcing the industry into self destructive cycle of producing endless amounts of continued niche, aesthetically poor animated products Additionally other research indicates that this trend is an industry marketing strategy during periods of poor economic stability. This in turn making the aesthetic visual quality and production of anime and combining cultural economic issue facing the Japanese animation Industry.[Abstract].
