Like the 'Mythical Troll', the Video Game Troll is pitiful and even mean. But through Joseph Meeker's insight into the Comic Mode and Jung's notion of the folklorie trickster, I will show that the Video Game Troll's pathos and mischief are secret strengths that are poised to cure the Cult of Ends and pave the way for a new tomorrow.
